Army @ The Fringe is based at Hepburn House Reserve Centre.

If you’re looking to reach us via public transport, York Place Tram Stop is a 10 minute walk away and Lothian Buses No. 8 stops a few minutes walk away.

The venue is in the middle of East Claremont Street – once you’re on the road, it’s hard to miss our Army @ The Fringe banners outside the building.

 

Access

Access to our box office and front of house areas is via a ramp at the main entrance to the building. The main performance space can be accessed via a platform stairlift from a side entrance to the building.

The Rec Room, where Unicorns, Almost is not fully accessible and is on the first floor of the building, reached by a number of stairs.

FOOD & DRINKS

Throughout the festival, we will have a food and drinks offering for audience members and general public.

Our relaxed and comfortable Mess Bar serves hot and cold drinks and very reasonable alcoholic beverages alongside an Army Tuckshop.

New for 2019 are our Army Field Kitchen, serving Army-style food, and Courtyard Bar, embracing and offering the Fringe beer garden atmosphere.

Food will be served from 12:00 – 19:00 each day (not Mondays).
Drinks will be served from 12:00 – 22:00 each day (not Mondays). 

BOX OFFICE

Army @ The Fringe’s box office is run by Summerhall. From Friday 2nd August, we will have a physical box office in operation at our venue, where audience members can buy and collect tickets. Card payments are accepted.
